A bit of background

Hello! welcome to Taryn's (mis)adventures in costuming!

I'm Tarynsgate. You may know me from local costuming/cosplay circles or you may simply know me through my site from deviantart. 

I've been doing costuming/cosplay for quite a long time, easily since 2006 when I did my first costume. However, it never occurred to me to really document what I've been doing (well mainly because I was so friggin' bad at it for the first few years...

but hey, we all grow don't we?) so starting now I will be posting things here. Expect to see loads of foam builds :P

So, I hope you do enjoy your visit here, and maybe we'll both learn something while we're at it ;)
